Oh my. If your job is always this rewarding, I don't wonder about the anxiety (see your previous post) anymore. O_O My job at least gives me satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment which in turn gives me the strength to tackle all the otherwise unsurmountable tasks.
Ugh. p.s.: I finally did the NKA, which usually takes 5 minutes of pasting a number into a document, and which I'd been procrastinating on for two months. *ahem*
It does sometimes give me satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment! On Friday, a patient who'd entered the hospital in a wheelchair left on her own two legs, and spent like ten minutes beforehand repeatedly and tearfully thanking me for being so kind and patient and helpful. That was really rewarding. I mean, I don't have general work-related anxiety, I just have very specific calling-officials-for-personal-reasons anxiety, and also thesis-related anxiety.
