Thank you for making me feel better about OUR screwed-up medical system. ;-)

>>Why are you still here? Your shift was over half an hour ago, J says. Also, I found some Acic thrown in with the narcotics earlier, so you can give yours to ward one for their stores. <<

Eh... did you commit murder this day? ;-)

Oh my. If your job is always this rewarding, I don't wonder about the anxiety (see your previous post) anymore. O_O My job at least gives me satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment which in turn gives me the strength to tackle all the otherwise unsurmountable tasks.

Ugh. p.s.: I finally did the NKA, which usually takes 5 minutes of pasting a number into a document, and which I'd been procrastinating on for two months. *ahem*

It does sometimes give me satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment! On Friday, a patient who'd entered the hospital in a wheelchair left on her own two legs, and spent like ten minutes beforehand repeatedly and tearfully thanking me for being so kind and patient and helpful. That was really rewarding. I mean, I don't have general work-related anxiety, I just have very specific calling-officials-for-personal-reasons anxiety, and also thesis-related anxiety. (Actually, the motherfucking thesis is the only source of ongoing anxiety in my life ( ... )

I'm usually a very calm and stable person! The previous post was just written on kind of a bad day. ;)

Which I know, which is why I kind of didn't bother replying to it. *g*

Too bad we couldn't meet today.

*dies laughing* Oh my god, what a nightmare, but it makes a great story. Did you make someone buy you a drink after work? Because I think you earned one.

I called my boyfriend halfway to home all "START CHOPPING LIMES, IT'S A CAIPIRINHA EMERGENCY."
