My eye surgery went well! Everything's still extremely blurry on that side, so reading's still kind of uncomfortable and I wouldn't like to try driving a car yet, but they've assured me it'll get better over the next few days, and should go more or less completely back to normal over the next weeks

I really wouldnt' have thought that West Wing is suited for listening only. But I will definitely keep it in mind, for whenever I need something eye-less. I've been wanting to watch WW for ages and I was always too stupid/tired/unintellectual for it. Pity.

Also, Night Vale - I still haven't gotten around to that. So many good things to try.

I hope you'll have a speedy recovery and that you'll get better suited medication next time! Codeine pretty much knocks me out, but I'm oversensitive, so... Also, eye surgeries terrify me to no end, even more than most hospital-related things which are all kind of a phobia, so let's just say that I admire your bravery and then I'll try to think of something else so that I won't get nightmares :P

Aw, I really have to borrow West Wing at some point, don't I? A friend has all the season boxes and would be perfectly happy to loan them out, but I've never got around to it -- even if I've quite liked the fics I've read of it and there have been multiple recommendations from all over :)

I watched like ten minutes of the Hunger Games on TV once and afterwards was depressed for the rest of the day. I don't think I can take that much misery and death for three entire books. :(

Love Night Vale, love The Bugle! For the latter, I recommend episode 69 because it's 30 minutes of immature giggling and dick jokes. :DDD
