No, you're not crazy... you'll love it and we are thrilled to have you participate!! I love to see how the art pieces are interpreted and turned into stories.

I think the 10K is still more than I can handle in connection to a given deadline, but I wholly share your enthusiasm about the event otherwise ^_^ And will be cheering people on!

(unless, possibly... you think I could do art??? are there requirements on quality? *pondering nervously*)

While I am fully confident you could make the 10,000 word count... you most certainly could sign up as an artist. Actually, this year we are encouraging artists who may have wanted to sign up before but felt their skills were lacking. We don't feel that way at all and plan on offering tips and advice and support through the support comm.

I really want to write again this year, so I think I'm going to sign up as both artist and author. We'd love to have you participate!
