Merdragon Preliminary Sketch
This is a commission. This is the commission that I've been putting off for months now and complaining about for like ever. Not that is isn't an awesome thing to draw, mind you. Just the pressure for it to be perfect tends to make me procrastinate.
Anyway, these two are supposed to be merdragons. They are deep sea creatures and not supposed to be very pretty. And their hands are supposed to be that big. The girl had references I could use, but this is the first time the guy has been drawn, so I have to go back and forth with the customer to make sure they're coming out the way she wants.
She wanted them to look they were either fighting or sexing.
Since I always send off previews stage by stage, I expect this to take awhile.
