Yeay, no more wisdom teeth growing in wrong! I can't believe they showed you a video, of course that will freak you out. It's not like you see it happening to you, or are even conscious of it happening to you. Lame. They just give you an IV in the usual arm place, to give you the sleeping drugs of wonder. It's kind of nuts how you close your eyes and then wake up in another room with gauze in your mouth. If your surgeon does the procedure like the millions of other doctors who do the procedure, you will be fine that very day, just a little groggy with a mouth full of gauzey goodness. Don't worry.

thye stick the iv thing in after they put you to sleep, so you dont feel it and its gone when you wake up. or at least, i really dont remember it, but i know i ahd one too. ummm i hated getting mine out. such a hassel of what you can and cant eat to avoid the dreaded dry sockets. good luck.
