I feel like I have been making some pretty good choices as far as seeing films in theaters lately. I was on a several month dry spell and decided to break it while the getting was good

The Champ is here! But I wish he'd go away...detailmonkeyFebruary 2 2008, 09:25:49 UTC
I hate John Cena's character on WWE. I was so disappointed when I found out he won the friggin rumble. I wanted someone unexpected to win it, like Finlay or Umaga or Snitsky (or even Kennedy, if he'd been in the damned thing). I hope Orton keeps the title for a very, very long time. I'd still like to borrow/rent a DVD of it so I can see it; it looked like it had potential to be very entertaining until Cena entered.
BTW, I am glad that they finally had Orton win a title match legitimately instead of through DQ or countout. It just bugs me when a villain/heel always wins or retains the title through BS. Plus, Jeff Hardy doesn't really belong there yet anyway.
It's funny; I got back into watching this crap b/c it was always on TV anywhere there was a TV last deployment. I've been in country 4 months so far for this one, and I have yet to see anything other than Kennedy vs Mysterio at that PPV event back in November.

Well, it was a surprise that he won. He was supposed to be out for another two months, at least. When his music hit, the crowd went crazy and so did I. Cena had some good matches last year, but they just need to do something new with him. This was good, but I really hope they don't go back to the way he was. He's a good worker and by all accounts a nice guy, so I can't hate him like I can certain other guys

Read No Country For Old Men. And everything else by Cormac McCarthy (The Road, Child of God, etc). Then read some Larry Brown and some Fred Chappell.
Or just read Faulkner, it's fine.
