Twilight: Eclipse
Tonight I went to see Eclipse in theaters...
OMG.
I didn't think I was going to like it at all, I wasn't even planning to go see it, but this new friend I made asked me on msn if I wanted to go out tonight and I didn't wanna stay home by myself so I said ok, what the heck, so we went.
I'm glad I did! I was going in there, hating the new Victoria and expecting the worse, because I was SO disappointed with New Moon (when I had really high hopes).
Holy shit David Slade! I have a new found respect for you!!
Eclipse is now my favorite of the 3 movies. It was SO well done! Granted, I haven't read the book in forever, but, it was everything I remembered, with some details added to make it go smooth and have a good transition with the story.
Personally, I thought New Moon was rushed, too much into too little times, the cut scenes were bad and I was disappointed because New Moon is my favorite of all the books. Twilight was good, but they left out a lot and I thought the acting was bad.
Eclipse... was like, SO AWESOME! I don't know how to describe it! Every important part that I remember from the book was in there, there weren't too many details to drag on the story, but just enough to be able to understand and make the fans happy. The acting was great (I hate to admit it, I LOVE Rachelle Lefevre, she's the perfect Victoria, but the new one really wasn't as bad as I thought she was going to be, it's a good thing you don't see her all that much too... Lol), the scenes were cut properly, the story was flowing well, the effects were awesome, the WOLVES! OMG THE WOLVES SOOOO GORGEOUS!!!
It didn't end the same way Eclipse the book ends, but, in a way I'm kind of glad.
And the fight scene with the new borns. O. M. G. !!!!! In the book, I don't remember Stephenie describing the fight scene, so I never really gave it much thought. But in the movie, when they fight, the vampires BREAK, like a mix of glass and rock being shattered when it gets hit. FUCKIN AWESOME!!
So yeah. I'm really happy about it~~~
