This was great. The charcters really do fit so well into this world. I can definately see Peter as an old west lawman and Neal as an outlaw and gambler.

And I love the graphic at the top of the story.

Peter would be so hot as a cowboy and so would Neal as a confidence man. I totally loved this, especially Peter getting all pissed at Higgins for judging Neal. You do a beautiful job transferring the character's to this universe, and I hope you write more. Of course, since you've put them in the west, my first reaction is to really want a crossover with either Brisco County Jr., Magnificent Seven, or both
