Earlier today, I was sitting in a Starbucks, killing time, when REM's 'Everybody Hurts' came over the speakers. What makes this worth a mention is that I has Symphony X's 'Bird-Serpent War Cataclysm' going in my MP3 player.

The dichotomy was amazing...

I had a similar experience this summer when I walked into work listening to Wheels of Fire (ManOWar) and they were playing Tiny Dancer. My brain nearly imploded.
