Tomorrow, everyone in Canada over the age of eighteen should be voting. And not for the Conservatives because I'd hate to see this country start moving backwards after so many years of quickly moving forwards, surpassing other countries with our standard of living.

Vote, dammit.

I will not be voting tomorrow, I've already mailed my ballot in. ;-)
I whole heartedly agree with you on both points.
No matter what party you vote for, Liberal, NDP, Greens, your vote is not wasted. Because of votes cast for the Greens in previous elections they can, and are, now running candidates in every riding across Canada. I think that is amazing.

Darn you know I was so busy thinking about myself when DX went that I didn't think of people like you who lost so much there. I can only hope you had backups.

i wonder how many other old diary-x people have secret livejournals? it will be nice to stay in touch with everyone here, even though this service seems like nothing compared to diary-x.

and unfortunately, i didn't have any backups. not a single one. silly me for having so much faith in the online world. i just never even thought that something like this would happen. :(

It's not a secret livejournal, really. If anyone wants to know of the existance of this LJ all they have to do is email me and ask. I don't go around shouting about it though, except to a few select people (ie: you). I don't really feel like keeping in touch with many people from there. A few, yes. Many, no.

I feel really bad for your DX lost. Five years is so long to lose. I never though of taking backups either. Always assumed the webmaster was doing piddly things like that. My bad. <3

it's good to hear from you. :) i saw where you moved to under the 'stay in touch' thing at diary-x.com, and i've been reading through your past entries at both sites.

i will definitely be moving over to codexed once it's up and running... probably under the name suicide-dream, just to keep things relatively consistent. i journalled for so long under that username that i just don't think i'll be able to give it up, you know? but i'm assuming you'll be back there as well?
