Dropped bits of my soul along my long walk
Now I've gone as far as god said

Dropped all that I had to find my way back
...but all I can see's up ahead

If I take this step forward I'd lose my way home
and the me I knew would be dead

So I'll pick up new bits and make me a new soul
and not wonder where my path woulda' led
