I'd also like to be able to paint like you or at least put down my pen and pick up a paint brush again. Still I'm not nearly as good as you.

I'm slightly disapointed by David Bryne being cooler than you anticipated, because David Bryne can't get any cooler as he is coolness incarnate!

I always thought the Talking Heads were kinda tacky and weird, so I kind of disregarded David Byrne (also, I hear he is kind of an asshole to the rest of his band...) but I brought out the greatest hits CD we had lying around, and I'm starting to get a feel for the tackiness. It's kind of like Supertramp or.... Rockwell? (who did "Someone's Watching") except a little smarter. I am definitely cultivating a feel for his music, though. :)
