Double-takes and optical illusions!

I had the weirdest morning. It felt full of self doubt, but not normal, self conscious self doubt so much as weird outerly perceptionsy doubt. I would do something, not think about it, and then half a minute later I would question if the thing that happened was really the thing that should have happened given the circumstance of what I had done. Actually, I thought this was interesting, too.

In a similar vein, I just read an advice column letter by a person whose natural, relaxed/happy/listening expression registers to everybody else as "extremely pissed off".

I had a friend and she looked like a bulldog whenever she wasn't being talked to. As soon as you talked to her, she got a happy and her face beamed. Beamed where? No idea. I think I mean that her expression reflected her happiness. Where did the term "beamed" come from in terms of facial expressions anyway?

Well, she and I aren't friends anymore.

I hope we aren't at the end of our novel, finishing the last chapter. When we do it's gonna be titled 'And Dave drags me down with him into the infinite Abyss'.
