Today I talked to someone who is leaving soon about Haruki Murakami. I love Haruki Murakami. It is really too bad that I tend to make friends/actually get to know people right before they leave. I guess this is a pretty common feat for most people.

It just bugs me that we're never quite friends enough for me to go to their going-away parties.
