I don't know where you were looking, but we most certainly have guys. There are, I believe, 5 male characters you can be stamped as. Negima isn't exactly wrought with a plethora of male characters, which if you have indead read/watched the series you should know.
And besides, what would be wrong with being stamped as a female character anyways?
I indeed read all available manga on english and watch all anime, even serial with real actors on japanese. So I know that u say. But... I have read about 50 past posts and only girls was there =) So I was surprised.
Ahaha, I was just making sure. Not everyone who applies has a full Negima background, some people have applied although they have only read 4 volumes of the manga...
If you really want to be stamped as a guy, you could request it in the application, the best time would be at the beginning of it, and most people will respect it unless they really really see another character you fit.
And there have been a lot of people come through with English as a second language, so don't worry ^_^
