I don't know what exactly you'll find interesting but lately I've been reading a lot of Kurt Vonnegut. The Alchemist is also good. If you want something loosely based on history and kinda on the romantic side, anything by Philippa Gregory will do and if you want something a little tear-jerking, there's Carol Goodman and Jodi Picoult. Those are the one's that I've been reading lately but again, it all depends on your tastes. Hope this helps =)
