*Walking from my apartment to Reed the other day, three older ladies clutched their purses and widened the distance between us as we passed each other on the sidewalk. They were all different ethnicities. *sigh* I guess big hair is not welcoming to everyone ( Read more... )

Thanks for the snapshots. It helps us who can't be there with you to feel a little bit more like a part of your life.
I could comment on every one, but I'll just say that you make me laugh. i love it!
...and that it has apparently been way too long since i've seen you if your hair is already big again.

i'd cross the street and clutch my bag if I saw you coming ;) Ya dang dirty hippie! Also I suggest getting a door key for your car made up and keeping it in your wallet. it helps a lot.

Dude, I love cheese curds! My mom brought some home from a trip to Minnesota once. They squeak like little erasers between your teeth. :) Tillamook is still the best cheese I've had though. I took a tour of their factory once, but it was really smelly.

Sometimes I find myself becoming more defensive when I pass a man on the street. It's nothing personal. As girls, we often have to be more careful than guys, I think.

I miss the days of roaming around a city you don't know!

Being married is WONDERFUL, but I really think that crazy independence is wonderful too....

I love your words Ramon! Keep writing. I get all excited when I see you've posted. :D

In your case, I'd encourage you to do some exploring with your spouse. I hear the Michigan upper peninsula is INCREDIBLE! Besides, crazy independence gets lonely sometimes...
