I read a book whose title I forget at the moment, but it was all about the Egyptian civilization and African notabilities in the Bible and history that are often overlooked. Very interesting indeed (and disappointing) to see how the acheivements of black races are ignored.

I really dig Gore Vidal's CREATION - you should check that novel out if you haven't already.

v. glad you got to see Gemma - but you should be even more excited that you get to see me! (that is if I get a shuttle on time tomorrow - I forgot to book in advance! not that it would suck to get stuck around the gorge a few extra hours - this place is gorgeous!)

btw - I would throw you a yard sale to help finance a trip to Albania... but it probably wouldn't even get you to Albany...

Don't know it until you've tried it! The very best of African American and Middle Eastern cuisine coming together...it's spectacular!
