It's hard to believe that my time in Puerto Rico is already up. In small ways, it has started to feel like home. I hope to come back for several months at some point. But, there's nothing like a weather report from Portland to remind me that the two weeks down here have not been reality:

i've heard that glühwein helps people to make it through the winter. do peopel in portland know about that?

Well at least half your state isn't on fire. Ok, it isn't half but three suburbs and south oklahoma city. :/

Well, Oregon will be burning in the summer...always does. How did fires start in Oklahoma in the middle of winter?

They say there are lots of different reasons. There were three more fires today in Oklahoma City. It is just so dry there. I think Texas might be getting it worse though. Crazyness. Plus, I think it might have even hit 70 degrees last week.. not much of a winter if you ask me.

Hehe - it is nice for someone like me who actually likes stormy and cloudy weather. We have lots of snow here currently, which is great, even if it means lots of work shovelling snow.

I hope you find good books, and that your wish to be able to visit Puerto Rico soon again may be granted.
