kind of serious/personal question.

Have you been feeling depressed lately? or noticed a lot of people around you are depressed?

I've been down lately, and so have a lot of my close friends. I was wondering if it was something a lot of people were going through at this point in the year/life/whatever.

I've been depressed for a while now to be honest. Being broke/no job/life in general/no money for school. Hopefully things can only go upward for me...

I actually suffer from depression and I'm on medication for it. I've been a bit bummed right now because of my job situation (I have a job, but the working conditions are unbearable. They know jobs are scarce now, and they're taking full advantage of that).

This year in general has been pretty crappy, not only for me but for a lot of people. Hopefully things will get better.

It just seems like there's no hope anymore.
Personally, I dropped out of college and my mom's always telling me I need to go back to do better in life. Now, it seems like people that graduated are in the exact same place as me. Sooo... why waste my time?

Pretty much word to what everyone else said. I feel like my life is lacking forward momentum. I'm in my first year in college and the thrill has worn off. I broke up with my boyfriend and moved out of state, everything was fine, but now I'm starting to feel pretty depressed. My family is a mess. One of my grandmas lost her job and the other is battling cancer. My dad is across the world in Japan and my mom is still in Michigan. I feel cut off really which is stupid I know, because I have a lot of friends and people who want to be more than just friends with me, but I just don't care.

I think I'll try hitting the gym. I hear that's suppose to help with apathy/depression.
