WOW! You are so adventurous. I would never even try most of that stuff.

Oh and by the way, carp is totally different than catfish. Unless someone knows what they're doing carp always tastes like you're trying to east a mouthful of mud. Even prepared well, it tastes strange and not really like fish at all.

I have that problem with catfish, too, actually. The mud-flavor thing. I'll eat catfish, but it's not my first choice of fish dishes.

Eww! If your catfish tastes like mud it means the pond it was raised in was nasty or the fish is too damn old to be eating.

Carp tastes that way pretty much no matter what you do and is chewy which always grosses me out.

I still can't believe how much stuff you're actually eaten from all over. ;)

LOL! That's partly due to traveling, and partly due to fact I just love food. I think the best way to start learning about a culture is through food and music. My ears always prick up when a new ethnic restaurant opens. ;-)
