apparently i am too old to 'get' how to use tumblr.

guess it's back to the old standard.

so how you doin', lj? long time no login/post except for character stuff on other journals. (i am lazy and i miss my plugins but not my old browser).

I had completely forgotten about the lj-login plugin. The newer versions of Firefox have stopped supporting it.

hi! I only use LJ to read, and its new layout is almost impossible for me to read, which is making me super sad, so I hope maybe someday you come to dreamwidth full time instead but HI ANYWAY.

I'm not seeing a different layout than what I've known for the past decade or so. Did I miss some update?

yeah, i pretty much only use my friends page to read and that hasn't changed? the few times i have tried to use dreamwidth IT was what was more confusing and hard to use.

Oh, maybe it's because I never read anything on LJ that's not off of my friends page. Except for like here, where it went to your layout for comments... but that's not different either.

I used Tumblr for a while when people were actually using it for blog type stuff. It seems to have turned into the place to post .gifs and such now so I gave up on it. I really do need to do a post on here, I suck at that. I think about a post and then get distracted as soon as I sit down.
