All of this = the suck. I can directly relate to all of this, weirdly enough.

I hate election years. It's one of the reasons I just want to leave the US altogether (a goal which is possible if I get into the Finnish school I'm applying to next year). There is so much childishness surrounding politics these days because the many who do not think critically want to argue with the few who do. It's sad, really.

Luck to us both on finding some employment. The monies are necessary, alas.
