I am still unbelievably sore but slightly better than yesterday. I made an amazing protien shake that I hoped would help. It didnt help as much as I expected/wanted but it tasted REALLY yummy. After doing some reading on recovery after strenuous(sp?) activity, I learned that pineapple and papaya have natural enzymes that work as anti-inflammitory. ( Read more... )

Yesterday, after church, the flag football league started. I was pretty excited to get some excersize, meet new people and have fun but I was a little nervous because I havent played a game of football since 8th grade. We played two games and man am I sore. The meeting went great. My boss ended up showing up to work on her day off and she went to the meeting as well, but she let/made me do all of the talking/reasoning. It was pretty fun and productive. Yesterday, towards the end of the day, my boss approached me and asked me if I would take her place in a pretty important meeting. The meeting is to discuss plans to add on to our current building. I went on another club ride yesterday. The first half of the ride I struggled because I didnt have any time to stretch. The second half of the ride I kicked it up a notch or two. I went out to lunch with some people from work today and on the way back to work the new temp got all racist. So I spoke up and said a couple of things including that ignorant people piss me off. Another long ride in the books, but I wasnt quite as prepared this time. I rode 47.3 miles yesterday. I didnt realize it was going to be that long. I was guessing more like 25 miles.
