Human....umm well duh something that LOOKS human and shares gene structures and physical characteristics of being human.
Animal....non human living thing that isn't a plant :P

Different? I think so, I mean we are a kinda of animal in a matter of speaking. But what makes us different (been told this in class over and over again) is that people have LANGUAGE. It is possible (I think) that animals have language but most people more educated more than me don't think so.
