With only 2,503,056 people, Rome clocks in at 85th on the list of the world's largest cities. Seems like you've already visited the largest city that Europe has to offer. London comes in at 19th. I'm not sure if I believe that. A lot of the websites seem to disagree upon exact population number. So put London as low as 7,287,555 while others put it at 11,950,000. One website even thinks that Paris has more people. Regardless, most agree that as far a population is concerned, Rome isn't even on the list.

If it makes you feel better, a lot of the top 20 are cities in Asia. They're all smaller over there and can fit more people in cities. It really isn't fair.
