Nice!!

It's really really cool you still play!! I sometimes wish I kept it up after HS too... Now when I look at the music I played solo my sr. year in HS, I can't read it let alone believe that I actually played it...

I'm sure you'll do grrrreat!!

If you want to pick it back up, I'd actually really recommend it. I took a couple of years off and it's pretty amazing how quickly you can shake the rust off.

You'll be really out of shape though, when you start back up!

Aaaaaaaaaaa! The Bach double!!! I still hear that as background music to my nightmares :D :D :D

Heh heh heh.

And I know I'll be out of shape. When I first picked it up to teach my coworker's daughter, thankfully she sounded worse than me :) But in my mind I was like "...ew..."

I DO have an electric violin...I suppose that means I can practice without my townhouse neighbors attacking me and complaining about it sounding like I'm torturing a cat!

Dude, what's the concerto? I'm guessing Vivaldi or Bach.

That's very cool. I don't think I've played a concerto with orchestra since I was sixteen.

Yep, it's the Bach double! Which makes it a little more nerve-wracking, because you know everyone in the violin section learned it at one point, and so did all the violists.

I'll send a Big Email once the concert schedule gets finalized. It's funny - I always feel weird about promoting stuff that I'm in, and I'm not sure why. I like it when people come to see me play.
