That picture doesn't even begin to capture the oil-on-pavement rainbow sheen over her skin... it is so beyond awesome.

Pretty. Boas are nice.

Remember, don't touch her when she is about to shed. And put her in a seperate box to feed her.

I know, I already have the box picked out. And I'm already making a chart to keep track of her feedings, sheds, poopies, and handling. Awwwwww. Snake poopies. I've never seen one.

Snakes tend to poopie when you are handling them, like walking a dog. Have some paper towels handy before you take her out of the cage.

btw, what did you name her?

Well, Brazilian rainbow boas came from northern South America, and the Mayans were practically on top of that...

Wow... she'd make a beautiful belt.

*ducks the tub of gecko feed that Kendra will toss at her head*

Actually, I think she does have a beautiful pattern. She looks like she's lined with eyes. I also like the shape of her head, and no, that's not an innuendo, ya sicko.

I've always been extremely fascinated with eyespots, so I find it amusing that I ended up with one just drowning in 'em. :)

Some snake heads look really weird to me, but hers feels juuuuust right.

I wonder what I'll do with the sheds... not exactly belt material. Maybe I'll file them away for a few years and then make a large thing across the wall showing her growth over time.
