Christian is used, sometimes, but it's definitely not as common as Christopher, at all.

I didn't mind the magic stuff in the book, but once they graduated the college and went to Fillory, I just shook my head and stopped reading. It definitely didn't scratch a Harry Potter itch.

Uh, tell me what you think when you've finished it. I have been tempted but I didn't want to buy it because some of the negative reviews left me thinking I could quite possible end up hating it.

Will do. So far i still heavily dislike the douchebag protagonist, but we'll see. It had a very interesting part, and right now it's a bit dull again, ah well.

I haven't! I got SO annoyed at the main dude that i just started reading something else. There could be a good book there, but its super hidden beneath layers of pretentiousness.
