...because my knees decided to die at me. I was walking back to my room from lunch when my knees started gradually getting weaker and weaker until I was hanging onto the railing and hopping on the better knee until I collapsed on my bed and called Theresa to have her help me because I couldn't walk

Well, that sucks.
Don't despair, though. You could have gotten an infection and then had a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics like I did two weeks ago.
Point being, I hope your knees and you get back on good terms soon so that you can once again waltz down the hallways of your lovely school.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I know there has been something wrong with your knees for years, and that you had been worried about it -- but I didn't think you would get into a wheel-chair! that really sucks. I hope it is temporary, and that it won't last more than a few weeks.

I should be out tomorrow or the next day, if all is well. I walked downstairs on my own today, so things are improving. I'm not ready to rely on my legs to take me across campus all day yet, but things ARE improving, so hopefully soon I will be able to without worry.
