Well, I'm glad things weren't too bad with Drew. Of course, he doesn't want to upset you by being bitter or saying sth just silly before you leave. He accepts how things are, and that's good because he will be then able to move on ...

I've decided I'm not going to bring up the subject with him again, unless it is part of the conversation already by some other means or path.

Hopefully this means he will be able to move on, though, for both our sakes.
