Chapter 1
Almost two months had past since the school year begun, but for Kamenashi Kazuya, this is yet another boring day and each and every tomorrow would only be like today. But then, this is exactly what he wanted it to be.
He was reading his book while their teacher hasn’t arrived yet and all of his classmates seemed to be occupied with their own activities. He hated it, the noise and numerous people around him. He just wanted to be alone, but that's impossible since he needed to attend school.
His surrounding gradually making the noise disappear because, finally their teacher walked inside their classroom. Kamenashi closed his book and placed his stare at the instructor in front of them as well as the rest of his classmates.
“Before we start our class, I would like to introduce to you your new classmate,” the teacher begins before placing his gaze at the door. “Come in.” he continues.
The new student entered the classroom and stop beside the sensei and placed his eyes to his new classmates.
“Class, this is Akanishi Jin, your new classmate. He’s a transfer student from America. He will be joining us from now on, so please make him feel at home.” Hyde-sensei introduced the new student in front of the class in 3-C section.
Everyone stared at the new student as if studying him from head to toe. Akanishi is tall with well built but still slight slender body. His hair was colored brown. He has a bishounen face that catches the attention of his girl classmates.
“Why don’t you introduce yourself Akanishi kun?” Hyde sensei asked, adviser of 3-C class.
The brown haired guy in front looked around and noticed that most of the girls were chatting and giggling over something. He kind of has an idea of what they probably talking. Those kinds of people are what Akanishi hated the most but he couldn’t just tell it out loud, neither show it. They knew nothing about him. They were just a bunch of people who apparently interested with his looks. He paused for a moment then he finally said, “My name is Akanishi Jin. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.” he said and made a bow.
Kamenashi never leave his gaze at the new student. It makes sense why his girl classmate’s reaction was like having seen some celebrity because he really was indeed looked like one. He thinks that this new guy would be so pleased that most of the girls had a crush on him right away.
“Alright then, find a vacant seat where you want to sit.” The teacher told Akanishi.
The brown haired guy studied the whole classroom, he would like to have a seat with fewer girls as possible but it seemed that the only vacant seats were with those noisy girls. Akanishi strolls, studying every possible seatmate before choosing his permanent seat.
Minami, one of those girl students who got a crush on Akanishi right away, saw him looking for his possible seat. She kicked the girl beside her in order for the chair to be vacant. The girl looked at Minami, immediately, she digs what Minami chan wished for her to do, and therefore, she stood up and looks for her new seat.
Minami smilingly offered the now vacant seat to the new student but Akanishi witnessed her action just now. He passed over her quietly. He thought being beside her would be just too troublesome therefore, he look for another seat.
And there far behind the class, he spotted a vacant chair. He looked at the girl beside the unoccupied seat, she doesn’t look bad, and she’s cute in her own way. She has one sided black short hair, and her bangs are falling to her face which covering her left eye. She has a pretty eyes too which were looking directly to him under her eyelids. The black short haired girl sure doesn’t look like friendly to him. So then, he decided to seat over there.
Both of them didn’t even say hi to each other. Well, Akanishi doesn’t really care. But he was planning to just smile and say hello!-Nice-to-meet-you, act like some friendly-new-seatmate if his new seatmate introduced herself to him. But that didn’t happen. He kind of feels like different from usual, well, because the usual thing that he expected to happen was practically, the girl would greet him and act like they are now new best of friends. But this short black haired is different and it’s better that way.
The girl from the chair beside Minami returned there. Minami looked at her, “Che! You sure are slow! Ba-ka!” Minami said, pissed with the poor girl. The pissed girl turned around and throws a deadly stare at Kamenashi, the girl who’s now beside Akanishi kun’s seat. She just gave Kamenashi a sharp strike of stare, thinking, ―bah! You think
you’re cute or something? You are just weird!
Kamenashi stared back at Minami. He doesn’t like Minami of all her classmates -yeah, she’s pretty but her attitude was pretty bad and she’s too talkative and annoying.
A second later, Kamenashi took back his stare first. He doesn’t want any trouble, and he’s still a guy even though he was disguising to be a girl. He’s not that bored to pick a fight with some girl.
The bell rings.
Everyone started to arrange their things. First subject has ended and they will just wait for their next teacher. All are excited as if bell is what they are waiting for.
Akanishi likes to read so he opened up his book and started reading it. Just like Kamenashi, he doesn’t care about his surrounding at all. But for the time being, he was amused to watch some stupid reaction from his girl classmates.
Those girls, after Hyde sensei went out, rushed to Akanishi kun, almost all of them so the possibility of pushing each other were at hand. There, they almost pushed one another just to come close to the brown haired new student first.
“Chotto! I got here first!” one of them said, squeezing herself to get in front of Akanishi.
“Nani?! Can’t you see I got here first?” someone yelled back.
“Urusai!” Minami, feeling the leader of something yelled to the rest of the girls, “Don’t you know you all look embarrassing?” she continues crossing her arms.
Kamenashi chuckled while watching the new Akanishi-fan-girls in front of him. Look at your self, he thought pertaining to Minami chan.
The new student’s jaw dropped and then got annoyed but then from the back of his mind he imagined something like this to happen so he just took a deep breath and take every thing under control including his temper. “Mou, minna san, I really need to go somewhere for a while ne.” he said and forcing a smile to appear on his face. The girls just stared at him. Then he grabbed his stuff and walked out the classroom alone. He’ll just come back when their next subject teacher arrived.
Kame watched the new student who just walked outside their room. He knew the reason why the brown haired guy disappears and it was because he was annoyed from those bunches of fan and before those fan gets into his nerve, there, he walked out. And those bunch-of-fan-girls started blaming one another after Akanishi went out.
“It’s your fault!” one of them yelled.
“It is your fault! Not mine! You were pushing everyone around that’s why he goes somewhere.” Another one yelled back.
“Oh?, look who’s talking.” The fist girl replied.
“Ne minna, let’s keep it friendly, ne? Anyway he’s too cool ne?” Suzuki, Minami’s best friend said. “I think I’m in love~” Suzuki added while covering her red cheek with her hand and fantasizing how good to have Akanishi kun as his boy friend. Those arguing girls ended their quarrel and join Suzuki from fantasizing.
“Kyaaa~! Me too!!!” Those Akanishi-fan-girls cried out synchronized.
“Yameru!” Minami screamed out and she looks irritated. Everyone suddenly stopped their day dreaming when they heard Minami screamed all of a sudden. “I spotted Akanishi sama first dakara he is mine! All mine. Always remember that!” such a big announcement yet, gibberish as it sounds. She looked at every one who’s staring at her, “Well, I can let you guys look at him from a distance but that’s it.” She ordered the girls as if Akanishi is some thing which she possessed.

Finally, the bell rings for the end of the day and it seemed that Minami chan never gave up being able to talk with the new student. She walked hurriedly towards the new student, “Ne, Akanishi sama, where do you live? Can I walk with you?” she said with the manner of flirting.
What’s with this girl? Akanishi thought while stuffing his books inside his bag. “Gomen, but I have to go somewhere.” He said without looking at her.
“Doko? Etto, can I go with you?” Minami insisted.
“Me toooo!!!!” Akanishi-fan-girls yelled at the same time when they heard Minami going somewhere with Akanishi.
Now, Minami furiously stared at those girls, “Dame!” she said as if she has the right to say that.
Akanishi again felt annoyed with everyone but he have to keep his cool. “Warui kedo...I really have to go somewhere. And alone. So maybe next time.” he gave his sorry smile to everyone and then afterwards he picked up his bag and walked outside their classroom, alone. The truth is the brown haired new student didn’t intend to carry out what he was just told them. There’s definitely no next time.
Akanishi’s fanatics were left behind, gloomy while, Kamenashi secretly chuckled. They’re such a bunch of fools. He thought and once again laughed silently while packing his things before finally going home.

“Tadaima!” Kame said when he finally stepped inside their home even though no one was home at this time of the day. He removed his shoes and went straight to his room upstairs - like he used to do. He feels free and somehow happy with his life whenever he was inside his room alone.
He attempts to open the door but it was locked inside. Nande...? He asked himself. He knocked wanting to know if his father was inside. Then it got opened.
“What?” the person inside asked after he slightly opens the door.
Kame looked at the person inside his room. Kame’s eyes widened as he recognized the person inside. He was so shocked that he couldn’t find the words he was supposed to say. It was Akanishi Jin! He keeps staring at the brown haired boy, who seemed to be surprised too but instantly regains his control. He can’t believe it! It can’t be happening!
“What do you want?” the brown haired asked again, staring at the girl outside his new room.
Damn. It is really happening. Akanishi Jin is actually in front of him! Inside his room! But why?!... “What are you doing inside my room? More importantly, why are you here? How did you get inside our house?!” Finally Kame seemed to be back with his sense.
“Is this your room?” Akanishi asked calmly, gazing his eyes to his new surrounding but not leaving where he stands. “This sure looks nice.”
“Domo.” Kame answered, kind of flattered from the compliment.
Akanishi is now closing the door.
“CHOTTO!,” Kame tried to stop the door from closing. “What are you doing? Didn’t just I say THAT room is mine? Why don’t you just get yourself out of our house now?!” Kame was really getting mad. This is too much. He just wanted to have a peace of mind already.
“I’m renting this room. I even paid the rent for the whole year to I supposed your dad.” Akanishi finally answered the confused girl outside the room.
“Nani?! Gee...” yeah, he remembered that they were actually looking for someone to rent the other room. But why his room? Maybe this is just a big misunderstanding. He must talk to his dad. “Demo, what about my things? Y’know, that’s supposed to be my room so my things are all inside there,” He’s trying to calm him self.
“Not here. You know I’m really tired and I want to relax a bit for a while. Just ask your dad.” Then he slammed the door.
“Chot―to...” Kame was left puzzled. He still wanted to ask something but he was surprised from the slammed door. He can’t do anything until his father comes home. So he decided to wait for his dad at the living room downstairs.
As soon as Kame’s Dad got home, he already asked a lot of question at once. “Oyaji?! I can’t believe what you’ve just done. Why did you let someone rent my room without telling me first? And what about my things? And I need that room!” he hoarsely said.
Kame’s dad looked at him. Kame was still wearing his uniform. Yes, it was a girl uniform. Kame never leaves his eyes from staring at his father. Somehow, Mr. Kamenashi anticipated this reaction of his son. Finally he said, “I transfer your things to the other room.”
“I can’t believe it! You know that I don’t like that room. Why don’t you just let that guy rent that room anyway?” Kame said pissed.
Mr. Kamenashi had a sit. He knew this is going to happen so he prepared himself. “He doesn’t like it. He insists to have your room instead.” he said still keeping his cool.
What a pain in the ass! Kame couldn’t help to think. “Then let’s just wait for someone who’ll rent the other room. Not my room.” The boy in a girl uniform insists.
“Stop being selfish!” His dad becoming more sounds dominating. He stood up in front of his son.
“No, I’m not!” Kame almost cried out. He can’t believe he could hear his father saying that he is selfish. His father knows of all people why he needed his own room.
“Look! We need money to keep on leaving and to pay the hell of our debts!” His father yelled and then stop for a while and trying to regain his cool “My salary is not enough and we do still have problems regarding our loans. We can’t find someone who’s gonna pay for the whole year anywhere else dakara, let him have your room.” He made a face, “Onegai...” he stared at Kamenashi.
Kame didn’t really know what to say. He suddenly felt he needs to sit for a while. He knew the difficulties that his father facing right now. He realized, yeah, maybe he acted selfish there... He cannot oppose to his dad anymore. He felt sad for his dad...
He noticed that his dad made himself sat in front of him. His mother just past away.
She died from sickness.
“If you really don’t want the other room, take my room instead.” His dad said softly. He eventually knew this is gonna happen and he do understand Kame’s feeling.
“Gomen-nasai...,” Kame said, he can’t afford to look at his father’s eyes. He really feels very sorry and yeah, he acted really selfish a while ago. He never considered how his father feels but only of what he would feel. “I guess I can take the other room.” He said and tried to put a smile on his face before looking at his father.
Mr. Kamenashi stood up and walked closer to his son. He gave his son a hug and then ruffled his hair. “Let’s just forget about it.”
