Mo is back in the vet ER, her paw was looking swollen and infected, which I brought up before they released her and they said it should be fine but it looked worse yesterday and her tube got clogged so, we brought her in. Alex is really not happy since he specifically asked them to keep her till they were sure she was fine and they called Sat and ( Read more... )

Mo is going through a lot right now and you really are doing everything you can for her. Don't reflect on what you could have done, but focus on what you can do for her now. Hindsight is always 20/20 and it'll only serve to drive you crazy.
I'm sure Mo can feel your love and support and that's all she really needs right now from you.

So Mo is on antibiotics, whatever is wrong with her paw will not likely be an infection or life threatening.

Take a deep breath. In with the good air, out with the crazy air.

The vet is going to be taking care of Mo for the moment. You've done the right things.

You've put all the wheels in motion to take care of the problems and are paying attention to those, that's good. Now, talk to us about what things you're doing to take care of you? How are your kids? How is school? What does the baby's room look like?

The thing is even the vet thinks it looks like an infection and depending on the infection the antibiotics she is on may not fight it, you need different ones for different things, which sucks.
I know we are trying our best and doing what we can for her, I am just feeling frustrated and helpless.

Mostly to take care of me I am trying to destress. Babies room is done and mostly in whinnie the pooh and blue with Cherry furniture. Only a few more things needed, changing pad + cover, ear thermometer, and crib sheets are the big ones. Students are doing well but I am pretty much done with trying to keep up with them and slacking alot at work, also not as patient as I should be. Luckily work is done after next monday.

Darling, you really shouldn't blame yourself : ( You put your trust in the vets, which is a totally reasonable thing to do. It sucks that they seem to have made things worse, but you've still done the best you can for Mo. I really hope she recovers, and that it becomes less stressful for you guys : ( I'm sending my love your way.

What day are you due with Joshua?
