Do you know about Care Credit? I couldn't presume whether you guys would need it or qualify for it, but you should at least know it's out there. When Basil had his $1800 hospital bill, Angell Memorial set me up with Care Credit and I was able to repay Basil's bill over the course of a year with zero interest.

We are on something similar but we only qualify for 6 months no interest and not enough to cover all the bills. We are working things out as best we can and will survive just will have to be leaner for a while.
