they won't put tubes in for adults - sorry. I wish they would. I have terrible ear problems and often consider bursting my own eardrums to releave the pain, but there's nothing they will do for it.

I'd say check with a different doctor, then. I know of at least one adult who had the tube replacement done (as an adult).
