Thinking of expanding in a green sorta way

I've ben making sketchbooks for a few years now and while I love them so, I know that there is a market for other types of notebooks, journals etc. I was thinking of making some pocketable ones out of reclaimed paper and actually doing some stab binding. Anyone interested/ carry something similar ( Read more... )

I think that would be pretty cool, and you know I'd share a table with you, baby. Green is awesome too, btw. I don't care if its the current trend or not, its actually DECENT. You also know I'm willing to pimp you anytime you need to, although I don't know how much interest I would stir up, but I'd try..!

I really like the idea, actually. I don't draw, but I'd certainly carry a NekoNote! ;) :p I'm stupid; what's stab binding? As for the pencil cases, etc, I think there's a market for those, too. Green, recycled and hand-crafted...just the *words* will make some folks happy! Seeing how things go over at a con might be easiest, cuz the tables are (relatively) cheap and you have a compassionate audience. I don't know how much of that they really buy, tho. You'd know better than I would. But this seems like an ideal street fair kind of item, too (esp. with green moms and back-to-school). I think that's an expensive proposition, tho. But you'd also hit a much wider audience. Anyway. I like the idea. :)
