Okay, I love and treat my dogs like they're my children and won't have it any other way. But, I still think this is the most retarded fucking thing I've ever heard. Who would ACTUALLY fight for that? It's just a word. And even if you regard your pet as an emotional equal and companion as I do, the pet really doesn't have enough of a grasp on the English language to really give a damn, so long as s/he has a warm place to sleep, food and water and lots of love.
