The election

Stop complaing about Bush's win. Big deal. Look in history-we have never changed presidents in the middle of a war. So Kerry lost. Big friggin deal. Get. Over. It.

It isn't like he would have been any better, anyway.

And people wonder why I am not registered, sheesh.

It IS a big deal. Why should we refer to history as a precedent, anyway? Who's to say it was RIGHT that the nation never changed presidents during a war, anyway? There are so many things that aren't going to get fixed in the next four years, so many things that the next four years under a LIAR of a president that are going to inevitably transpire and escalate, that I think that it is up to the people to give a shit about it! You're not being registered is nothing noble, friend. It's just being indifferent, and in my opinion, taking for granted the one of the freedoms this country might--who knows?--be on it's merry way to losing (coughCORPORATEAMERICABUYINGTHEELECTIONcough ( ... )

To vote or not to vote... lwashburn February 23 2005, 06:38:27 UTC
This is my opinion on the matter...not that it will make any difference, but bare with me for a second....I am a registered voter. Whether I be Republican or Democratic is no ones business but my own because it creates too much controversy. Now, had I said I was not a registered voter, I would have gotten the same scolding as Julie, which is nothing more than people trying to A.)Try and change how you feel about voting or B.) make you feel like you are less of an American than they are because you did not vote ( ... )

Get off your butt and go register to vote, ASAP. You may not care now, but someday you will.
Make your voice heard.

Funny. I remember in class that the President is just a puppet. His Advisors and Congress make about 95% of the decisions.

BTW: I plan to register after I graduate. School gives me a headache, then I get a headache from all the BS around politics. Registering would just give me a 24/7 migraine.

I agree about people should stop complaining. I know I said I was scared of what may happen, but I am not really complaining about anything. I really didn't want to support either Kerry of Bush to be honest. I just could not trust either of them. I am not even bothering registering myself. The whole thing is dumb and people fight with their friends about this whole presidential ellection. x___x it's like.... let's all just be in peace and not kill each other over this now. You know?

Wow, that's so incredibly arrogant. What right do you have to tell us to stop saying what we feel? Especially in our own journals?

What I am getting at is the wishes for Bush to die and the "I am moving to Canada" comments are getting old.

And you think THIS is arrogant?! Trust me, I have seen worse.

What I'm getting at is that no one's forcing you to read those comments, and what I'm getting at is you have no right to tell us to stop saying these things.

She has every right. Yes, you are free to share your opinions in YOUR OWN JOURNAL! Share them however you like whether it be out of frustration or whatever, but YOU decided to read her entries in HER journal, so be curtious and present your opinions in a mature manner, not in one that makes you sound like a pompous ass, not that you are, you just sound like one....:)
