Hella late Eluveitie concert mini spazz and stuff

So, I told myself I'd take a week after seeing Eluveitie live to just sorta let the inner fanthing die down before writing about it.

Things got so crazy that it went from one week to several months |D
But I think the initial OMGTHATCONCERTWASSOAMAZING-ness has finally worn down.

So I saw them in Milwaukee on February 3rd. It was part of the group tour they were doing with Children of Bodom (I left before Children of Bodom played for various reasons, including I had to go with my mother and we were going to try to drive back to Iowa after the concert).

The Eluveitie part was short, but well worth the wait. THIS LIL LOSER HAD FUN UP IN THE BALCONY C8
There was definitely lots of energy everywhere and unlike the other bands where no one would mosh, lots of people just sort stood off to the sides, almost everyone was into the music. I can't remember the set list for the life of me anymore, though :c

It happened to be the first day they were able to sell the album (they just got the first shipment of the discs in) so I got one before the official US release (WOO!) I also had to leave through the handicap exit because of my mother sooooo I lucked out and caught Simeon while he was taking a smoke break and got my CD signed~ (Also caught the band vlogging outside the bus when I first showed up but I was too shy to get out of the car) Simeon was actually kind of cute about the signing. He told me that I got a CD before even the members of the band did because they were told they would have to wait because of the limited number of copies they had to sell, so my CD was really special. (He also said they're gonna do another US tour next year <33333)

Completely unrelated to that, I've been hella busy with work. Me, being the lil tard I am, completely overlooked the fact that every dog owner under the sun is going to bring their dogs in in the spring to be groomed to get their "summer cuts." I have never seen so many golden retrievers in my life x.x

I've also been slowly getting back into my old hobbies (it's amazing how much you change for a single person without realizing it) and jrock is one of them. I need reliable places to get updates from. (Lilith, if you're on here, that community you have me on on fb looks fun and all but it's killing my phone's battery with all the updates and it's not getting me news on bands lol)
I literally, can't even remember half the bands I used to listen to off the top of my head. I'm gonna have to go through my last.fm library to figure out what I need to look up and download.

ALSO ALSO, if anyone out there wants to talk kpop, please count me in? I've been completely sucked in. (Other music is good, but kpop gives me something totally ... dance-able and it usually comes with great choreography in the music videos, fun costuming, hair, makeup and ... the boy bands make me squeal in a manner that makes me ashamed)
