When's the last time you walked with determination? Each step filling you with passion that tingles down to your fingertips. I find that, walking around this campus, a lot of my motivations are so easily or simply accomplishable that walking with determination would be a waste. I've been thinking a lot about being out of perspective lately. To me, it's daunting and requires a certain tenacity because you do have to realize that one test, one date or one event probably won't affect the universe. However, it may also be that everything is linked to everything else (butterfly effect?) in which case one passion-filled step does make some indiscernible change.

I think the easiest solution is to fill yourself with passion about everything you do. Why should the things that move us be limited to the extraordinary? Being as excited about one thing as the next gives yourself a feeling of importance and accomplishment, and that sort of thing is contagious!

But then, you always seemed to me to have a gift for appreciating the little things, so I'm pretty much preaching to the choir...
