A: "The shoes Sho-chan gave me for my birthday, I wear it everyday. It's the kind of sneakers which u can simply wear by stepping on it's heels. "Satoshi-kun, it's easy/comfortable, dont u think so?" Sho said. I prefer shoes which are easy to take off, so to have him understand that and properly choose for me, makes me very happy..."
Sho's comment :
"Certainly he has been wearing the shoes quite often (LOL). Wearing and taking off shoes during drama filming can be rather bothersome, so since the shoes' heels can be flattened, I figured it might be convenient."
“Satoshi, what are you looking at?” Sho asked curiously when he saw Ohno staring at a laptop screen, and of course it was his Macbook because Satoshi never even bother to buy a notebook for himself.
Ohno only hummed his answer, which made Sho simply approached Satoshi from behind to take a peek for what was on the screen. Ohno was not the kind of person who usually interested on browsing the net, and Sho certainly didn’t want Ohno looking at suspicious websites using his precious Macbook.
To his surprise, Ohno was looking at a few online shopping websites and somehow he looked confused.
“I need to buy a new pair of shoes. The old one is not comfortable anymore.” Ohno whined while still looking at the monitor desperately. “I don’t have time to go shopping because of filming and all.”
“You have time to go fishing, but don’t have time to buy a new pair of shoes?”
“Sho-chan, I haven’t gone fishing for the longest time now. Look at me, my skin is almost as fair as yours.” Ohno pouted and looked a little bit hurt by Sho’s remarks.
Sho smiled apologetically to his cute lover. “What’s the kind of shoes are you looking for?”
“Honestly I don’t know. I just want a simple and comfortable one. And I certainly don’t know that searching for a nice pair of shoes is so troublesome,” Ohno sighed and stared back at the monitor.
Hearing Ohno’s last sentence, Sho suddenly got an idea. It was already near Satoshi’s birthday and this time he really wanted to buy something useful for him. Now he just needed to distract his lover’s mind from his mission to search for a new pair of shoes and he knew just the right way to do that.
“Satoshi, let’s go to bed.”
“But, I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.”
“Hmm, I can offer you something else.” Sho whispered seductively right into Ohno’s ear and started to trace his lips on Ohno’s exposed nape.
Sho knew he had won the battle when Ohno turned around and started to kiss him passionately then pulled him towards his lap.
“You still want to search for that pair of shoes?“ Sho couldn’t help to tease his boyfriend.
“Hmm, it can wait until tomorrow,” said Ohno while nipping at Sho’s earlobe.
“Bed, Satoshi. Now.”
From then on, Sho never left his Macbook alone. He even went to the extent of putting a password so that Ohno couldn’t use it without his permission.
Thankfully Ohno was also too busy filming, and when he had a day-off he would use his precious time to paint or to play RC car because his manager had banned fishing until the drama filming was finished.
“There is no such thing as a tanned kagi-otaku,” was a warning his manager said to Ohno with a ‘this-decision-is final’ kind of tone.
Sometimes Sho would give Ohno some fashion magazines as an attempt to find out his taste on shoes, but of course it failed terribly. Between shoes and fishes, the winner was obvious. Ohno would certainly choose to read fishing magazines instead of boring fashion magazines.
In the end, Sho decided that he just had to trust on his instinct. He was the one claiming that there was nothing about Ohno Satoshi that he didn’t know. This was the right time to use his knowledge.
It was not until the filming of HNA Mannequin Five Spring SP that Sho found the shoes for Ohno’s birthday present. He politely asked the staff to stop filming for a second because he needed to check on something for private matter. Afterwards, he asked for the store’s name card so that he could come back and buy the shoes later on.
Sho knew for instance that Ohno would like the shoes. The color was a simple navy blue, and he just needed to step on its heels to wear it.
“It’s perfect,” Sho thought while smiling to himself.
Because months already past from Satoshi’s birthday, Sho didn’t want to make a fuss about his late birthday gift. He just quietly put the gift on their living room table before he went to Hokkaido for his Casa Brutus photo shoot. Kagiheya filming finished at 2 am last night so his lover was still sleeping soundly at their bedroom.
The next day, Sho was waiting for Ohno in the green room along with the kaze trio. Ohno was rushing from the kagiheya filming site to the studio for VS Arashi filming. By the time he arrived, Ohno had a big smile on his face just like his usual expression after he successfully caught a big fish.
"Riida, you're not fishing again, aren't you?" Jun asked curiously because he knew their manager already warned Ohno not to go fishing until filming was finished.
Hearing the accusation, Ohno just pouted and mumbled his retort.
"It's not only fishes you know? There are other reasons that can make me happy."
"Such as...?" Matsujun asked again while raising an eyebrow.
The Arashi leader then silently walked towards Sho who was hiding behind today's newspaper pretending to be oblivious of the whole scene happened in the green room.
After Ohno was standing right in front of Sho, he gave a naughty smirk, pulled the newspaper, and before Sho had the chance to say anything, his lover already kissed his forehead lovingly.
"Sho-chan, thanks for the new pair of shoes. I love it."
Sho felt heat rising to his cheeks and he really wished that he could just disappear from the green room when he heard Aiba, Nino, and Jun giggling endlessly.
He and Satoshi already had an agreement to have their relationship as private as possible and they wouldn't show too much public display of affection in front of the kaze trio or the fans. Subtle touches and loving glances were more than enough for both of them.
The initial shock after Satoshi kissed his forehead gave Sho a sudden loss of ability to form a coherent sentence. So Sho refrained from saying anything when Satoshi nudged him so that he could sit on the same sofa with Sho.
"I told you, I have my reasons Jun." Satoshi said with a wide smile while reaching to hold Sho's hand.
"Dinner with me tonight?" Satoshi suddenly asked him with a soft voice.
After a brief pause, Sho just simply tighten his hold on his lover’s hand. "Anything for you, Satoshi."
"Oi guys, get your own room please! No lovey dovey talk and touching here!!” Nino suddenly yelled at both of them which made Sho blushed and once again laughter echoed from the Arashi green room.
