changes

Last year I made a summary, but now I don't feel like making one.  I just wanted to write about the recently things that happened in my life. :P

The end of the year 2007 I've spent in the Polish mountains. czubajka-kania was so nice to invite my friends and me ti visit her. ^^
In Warsaw the weather was awful and we didn't have and snow for the whole December. I was extremely happy when I saw how white the mountains were. During the first night we went to the top of the Gubałówka. Zakopane looked beautiful. When I saw this view I started to fall in love with mountains. :3
On the second day we went to sightseeing Zakopane and the neighbourhood. As the city didn't make an impression on me what I saw in the Valley of White made my heart beat faster.

I changed my point of admiring beautifulness. The third day was the best from them all, because we went dog sledging with czubajka-kania's two adorable husky dogs :) This was a real fun, if you ever have the chance to go dog sledging, don't miss it. The feelings that you have are indescribable :)

oh and one more thing. Here is a picture of what I saw in the morning. *_* I wish I could admire this view every morning *_*

On the 1st of the January I started to feel really bad because I wanted to stay longer, yet I needed to to go back to the gray reality.
The thing that kept me in a stable mood was my trip to Berlin in a few days. The day before my journey I managed to contact tilhe. I must say she is a great guide. Thanks to her my friend and I was able to see much more interesting things, than if we decided to see the city by ourselves. :) (so I want to thank you tilhe once more for showing us the city :)
It was funny, because we exchanged English and German language when we talked, sometime even mixed it (f.e. It's alt) :D
My friend wanted to speak German and I used English, so tilhe was a little bit confused. There were priceless moments when she needed to ask some German people about directions and she started to speak in English :D
I am fascinated by German people and German climate. Berlin itself is a very slow city as for a metropolis, but for me it was like a 'catharsis' I stopped chasing like a madman and just enjoyed everything around me. I had the time to notice the details, and understand the rules of Berlin :) In Warsaw I am just in a rush. I have no time for anything. I just act like a robot. That scares me, and I need to change that...

There was a funny incident in the 'Deutsche Geschichte Museum'. Me, my friend Kasia and tilhe went on an exhibition about Portugal journeys in Middle Ages, Vasco da Gama and such.
We were watching some antic books and maps when I noticed a beautiful canon from some kind of battle ship. I was bewitched by it. As I knew that I cannot touch anything I've put my hand very near the canon and moved  it smoothly to feel its shape but without touching it. My ritual was seen by a guard and he started to be more interested in what my friends and me are doing. In the next room the guards changed but they must have had contact each other because the second one was doing the same thing. tilhe and I saw a Chinese figure of a lady and a child. It looked like it was a Chinese version of Virgin Mary and Christ. I must say it was scary. She looked like she was possessed by some demon and the child had no head (the figure must have been damaged, but it made an enormous impression). We laughed that 'Mary' was possessed and ate the head of 'Jesus' :D I wanted to take a picture with my cellphone camera of this figure, but the guard was faster, he jumped to me and put his arm on my phone and said: 'Bitte kein Foto nehmen!'  We said sorry and he let us go to see the rest of the exhibition. After the incident he acted like he was my shadow. When I came to the next room, the third guard  started to follow me. Kasia didn't saw this and came to me with a confusion written down on her face and asked me do I know that some guy keeps following and watching me. When I told her the story we all started laughing. The third guard was really annoying but as we were in great moods we decided to act more suspicious. It must have been the Slavian blood that made us do it :D

and here is a photo of german kitchen-doll on tilhe's special request. It is blurred but it is the best one I could get. :/

WIR BLEIBEN KAMERADEN :D
nazi needed to be gay :P

Also we saw original bike uniform that Kruger had in Mai Otome. :D

There was a few interesting uniforms, maybe this isn't the best one but still I drolled :D

All the exhibitions were interesting but there was something that I will never forget. In the Jewish Museum in Berlin there is a piece of art on which you walk. It is a special place with iron masks lying on the floor and white high walls that shrink at the end of room. When you step on the masks they make a sound and a echo appears. The masks are creepy and the sound is so strange that makes you shiver. When we came out from it, my body felt strange. I didn't understand what is going on around me...
