1) You didn't inform Ben, Dana, or I that you wouldn't be returning the keys on the specified date. You said that you have a phone and email. Well, so do we, and a little heads-up would've been nice, kiddo.
2) Although you say the amount of stuff was small, you were supposed to have moved out on the 23rd, or at least by the time everyone came back. Saying that you still wanted access to the room because you had stuff left there is not an excuse.
3) Saying that you were unaware of the reasons why we might have wanted the keys to be returned just means that you didn't think about it, or assumed that whatever reasons we may have had were less important than your own personal convenience. That you didn't consult or even bother notifying anyone that you were holding on to the keys stands testament to this.
4) While I'm sorry that you got sick (>_< especially during the holidays), I was taught long ago ( ... )
