Southland Tales is the worst movie I've seen in a long, long time.

The trailer was awesome. The cast was pretty awesome. The director's pretty awesome. But you're right, Southland Tales did suck quite a bit.

and I wanted SO MUCH to like it.

I never did see the trailer for it -- finally got around to watching it after a friend urged me too multiple times. Now I'm thinking I may need to take legal action to get that 2.5 hours back.

Maybe I'm just not a fan of sacrificing good storytelling in favor of "OH EM GEE, THIS MOVIE IS TRIPPY AS HELL."

Speaking of, though, the Justin Timberlake / trippin balls sequence to "All These Things I've Done" was awesome.
