If nothing else, at least you can see that environment for exactly what it is and how you're trying to make things better for yourself. It's never a fast change, but you care and you're trying to do things to improve your life. That's a huge thing, even if you might not think so. It's definitely hard, though, to see others you love struggling through the same things, but they won't listen to you when you want to share the things you've learned.

Haha, I never could get into RL fandoms. I read some of it since a favorite author of Dustin's and mine loves to write some ficcage with bands and even ice skaters, but I treat them mostly as original ficcage, which is easy since I don't even know the people. ;)

i usually don't get too into rl fandoms, but i'm totally sucked into this one ^_^ though it helps that their personas are pretty fake on stage so it's kinda like orig fic ;p
