Thank you for your latest post. I understand how you would not want to write more about the Fukushima nuclear power plant. The days drag past with no good news and you have to live with a disaster that does not seem to get better and where no one can find a good solution. It is normal and OK to feel burnt out (emotionally exhausted) about it ( ... )

I think Japan has been more concerned to create robots to care for older people. But sure, Japan has made great advances in robots, for the civil sector (in contrast USA that investigates military industry). Nobody can prepare for what is happening in Japan now. Reality is always more. I think after this, Japan will investigate more on robots to save people, and new energy sources. They will, and will do well, as always. But the price is too expensive.
I hope it ends soon.
It's gonna take more than robots. A lot of work.
Again, hard times for Japan.
It hurts me.
