Meh. Meh I say. K (great colleague) is out w/ health issues, so I'm doing the work of two people right now. Gonna be at least two weeks until she's back, so... bah. Main thing is that she gets well, but just wish I worked in one of those fields were I got paid overtime. That was one of the very few perks of being a contractor - used to get overtime

Wow, those shoes....I tried a pair of cute stilettos a couple months ago and was reminded I wear 2 in heels about twice a year.....

Stupid question, is the Kindle just for e-books, or can it do other things? I think I told you this on a previous Kindle post, but I've got a Nook (that I don't use, as I've got a ton of paper books), but I was stealing my husband's Kindle for games and such.

LOL, I get comments about my heels all the time, and I'm like 'but I stop at 5", what's the big deal. I feel weird about flats. In fact, someone at work was all 'wtf, why aren't you taller today?' because I was wearing flats for once....

The newer kindles handle the internet/video/music rather well. HD versions don't handle too many tabs well, but the HDX seems to fix that. But yeah, they're great for video and music. If you're serious about using them for multimedia and net, I'd go for the HDX. I've played some simple games on the HD and they were okay (through apps). But the HDX seems to have much better multi-tasking capability. Check out the reviews if you're taking more serious games.
