Day 4: Your favorite book

Oh, not another favorite :D

Some time ago, I decided that Bulgakov's Master and Margarita would be my favorite book, and I guess I'm sticking to that decision. I read it years ago, and I can hardly remember the details, but I know I loved it while reading. Now I want to read it again. :D

Since crapdealer said it's an awesome thing to admit something like this ( Read more... )

Master and Margarita is one of the few Russian classical books I love))) Probably b/c I was sick when they tortured us with it at school))))
Then, after I finished all 4 books, I slept, and in 24 hours, I realized that it was a huge bunch of crap. Hahahaha! Better later than never! XDD
I agree about Voldemort. He was actually one of my fav characters there (though it's mostly due to fanon b/c I know some terrific writers who really gave him awesome personality as opposed to what JKR did), and the supposedly most important showdown of all 7 books disappointed me a hell of a lot more than even the infamous epilogue (which, for the record, I hated as well). Before Naruto, HP used to be my # 1 fandom, but after book 7, it ttly died on me.

Oh yessss, that epilogue is so FAIL :DDDDD I mean, what was Harry and Ginny thinking????? Do they WANT to get their kids get beaten up, giving them names like that?? XD

I haven't read much HP fandom, only a few HPNaruto xovers XD I used to love those XD I know, I'm weird XD

Master and Margarita wasn't mandatory at my school, I just had this idea that I would read the Hungarian Top 100 books in 1.5 years (I never finished it ^^') and Master and Margarita was among the best 12 XD

MEG CABOT! YOU SAID MEG CABOT!!!! *dances* I SO adore her. <3333333

I used to read Agatha Christie a lot, and I just don't understand when I lost my fascination for crime/detective stories. I don't read Stephen King because my imagination attacks me when it shouldn't. T.T Suspense/Mystery/Horror is bad for my heart. T__T

I'm so weak. *tears*

Hee. XD

I can't stand watching horror, either :DD But reading is fine. Except when I do it for a long time right before going to bed - then I have nightmares. X_X

You're not weak!! You're just more effected. ^^ You must get into movies and books than most and it effects your subconscious. ^^

For some reason, horror stories have this evil ability to seep into your dreams, yeah? I mean, why can't an awesome love story give you a dream of love and whatnot? Why do horror stories always give nightmares? XD

Aww, that's a generous thing to say. XD I reckon you're right there. ^_^
