Tokyo Boy

It's a movie and the main character is Maki..That's the reason I watch it. Her parents died when she was 9 years old because of car accident. Three of them were on the way home from the amusement park. She blame herself because she ask to go to the amusement park. She felt lonely so she wrote a letter to her deceased parent and tied it to a balloon. Suddenly, she received a reply from a boy that had the same age as her. He claimed himself as Night. After that, they both replied letter to each other. Minato (Maki) wrote what happened everyday to Night. Night supported and comforted her until she was 19 years old. Then she meet a man name Shu. She wrote about Shu to Night and she received a reply saying that she shouldn't meet Shu anymore. Minato thought that as a jelousy from Night.

That's half of the movie. It's quite slow and  it try to show three point of view. First, from Minato. Then, from Shu and lastly from Night. Night is a split personality of Minato. Basically it's a personality that Minato create unconsciously to comfort herself. It repeates certain parts that are annoying to watch it again but it includes certain parts that we didn't see before. So, we need to watch to understand this movie.

Night try to protect Minato from others especially Shu. Shu left Minato and this made Minato lonely and sad. Minato request to see Night. She say she will come again untill she could meet Night. Night knows he can't grant that wish as he himself is in Minato body. Shu come and seek Night. He ask Night to think back about Minato happiness. Lastly, Night vanish from Minato body.

It's quite sad for Night. If Night is a real person, I'll definately fall for him. It's sad when Minato who is the one created Night but left him at last. It's sad he love Minato so much but he couldn't meet her. Night character is really sad.
