Chapter 6
Mission is still a mission
“Hi Yuto, why did you call me?” Mayuko asked as she already slept.
“Nothing, it just I hope you’ll not interfere with Mirai problem,” Yuto said.
“Why not? She is my cousin anyway.” Mayuko suddenly lost her sleepiness.
“Because it’s too dangerous for you and you don’t have any connection with her power,” Yuto sounded so serious.
“Yeah, I’m not related to her power but I’m still related to her. Even she didn’t have the power, she is still my cousin.” Mayuko said. Yuto kept silent for a moment.
“I-I…” Yuto started back.
“What?” Mayuko a little bit mad.
“If that the case, I’ll protect you.” Yuto blurted out. Mayuko froze. Yuto, what do you mean?
“Good night,” Yuto ended the conversation.
“Wait!” Mayuko suddenly remembered about Ryosuke coming to their house. Should I tell Yuto?
Don’t you even dare to betray me.
“What’s up?” Yuto asked.
“Nothing, good night.” Mayuko decided to kept quiet after remembering the warn from Ryosuke
“Okay, good night then,” Yuto replied and closed his phone. Mayuko looked intensely at her phone.
“Mayu-chan, is something wrong?” Mirai asked when she woke up seeing Mayuko was sitting. Mayuko shook her head and lye back.
“What? The plan had changed?” Yuto answered his phone in the toilet as it kept vibrating in the middle of the class.
“Takaki said you must bring Mirai to him now. He said X wanted to meet her,” Yuuri talked on the other side.
“But we’re in the middle of a class.” Yuto tried to excuse.
“Just think of a way out because this thing is more important.” Yuuri ordered.
“I’ll try. Thanks for informing,”
“I guess it can’t be helped,” Yuto closed his phone and ran out to Mirai class.
Mirai kept staring at Ryosuke who didn’t even bother to see what happened in front of the class. He leaned his back at the chair and staring down the floor. Mirai wondered what was in his mind asking for such thing.
*Flashback
“I don’t want to exist from the beginning,” Ryosuke said set down his hand from pointing to the school.
“You want to die?” Mirai asked as she didn’t understand.
“No, just do something so I’m not born. Go to the past and kill me before I born.” Ryosuke raised his voice. Mirai tried to penetrate through Ryosuke but all she can see is sadness.
*End Flashback
“Excuse me, but it’s an emergency,” Yuto bowed to the teacher and pulled Mirai out of the class. Ryosuke looked at those two and stood up.
“Excuse me too,” Ryosuke bowed to the teacher and ran out of the class, chasing Yuto and Mirai.
The class became noisy as everyone talking and gossiping to each other. As usually the jealousy of Ryosuke or Yuto and thinking how lucky Mirai was.
“Class! Please be in silent!” The teacher commanded.
Ryosuke took out his phone and dialled a number while chasing Yuto and Mirai.
“Kota, one of The Ace member took away Shida-san and I’m chasing them.” Ryosuke reported.
“I’ll send some help and don’t off your phone. I want to track the signal.” Kota commanded.
“Hai,” Ryosuke replied.
“What’s wrong Ko-chan?” Hikaru asked Kota as he looked so tense while answering the phone.
“It’s Ryosuke. They have made another move and Ryosuke is chasing them. Where is Ryutaro?” Kota looked around the living room.
“In his room, playing with his hamster. I’ll call him out.” Hikaru stood up from the couch and ran upstairs.
Kota looked at Keito who was holding himself on the corner of the room. Keito looked back at Kota. He nodded and ran out of the house.
Yuto looked back and saw someone was following them. He stopped. Mirai was shocked with the sudden stop.
“You go first. Meet Takaki. I have some business to do,” Yuto turned around from Mirai.
Ryosuke stopped too when Yuto stopped. He stared at Mirai. Then he saw Mirai ran away he started his step to chase her but been blocked by Yuto. Yuto stared at Ryosuke. He seemed to recognize this boy especially his eyes.
“Yama-chan?” Yuto asked. Ryosuke shocked. No one ever called him in that name except…..
*Flashback
“Yama-chan, let’s play soccer today,” A boy approached Ryosuke with a ball in his hand.
“Yuto? But you have a fever. I thought you’ll stay in your house and rest.” Ryosuke surprised with Yuto approaching.
“I promise you yesterday that we’ll play soccer. How can’t I break it?” Yuto smiled and gave the ball to Ryosuke. Ryosuke replied the smile and they played together.
“See you tomorrow Yuto,” Ryosuke waved his hand joyfully.
The next day Yuto came to the park but Ryosuke didn’t appear. Yuto came again the next day, next next day, next next next day until he gave up to wait. He walked home alone with a ball in his hand.
*End Flashback
“But mission is still mission,” Ryosuke glared into Yuto eyes. He pushed Yuto aside and continued chasing Mirai. Yuto shocked and froze for a while.
“Yuto?” Yuuri suddenly appeared. Yuto suddenly awake from his shock and chased Ryosuke.
Yuuri was surprised with Yuto action and chased Yuto. He took out his phone and call Arioka.
“Daiki, I think something is wrong because Yuto is not with Shida-san.” Yuuri reported to Arioka.
“I understand,” Arioka replied and closed his phone.
